Announcement

At Fourteenlines, we are dedicated to fostering unity and empowering diversity. Each season, we shine a light on a minority community to celebrate their unique voices and contributions to society.

This season, our focus is on empowering individuals within the autism community. As part of this initiative, the best winning entry that aligns with our mission will receive an additional 200 RMB as part of the prize.

Join us to celebrate diversity and shape the future.

​Competition Detail

Participants are invited to select a poem—whether a classic work or an original composition—and translate it into another language of their choice. Each participant may submit only one translation.

Submission Open: November 5th HKT

Submission Deadline: March 1st HKT

Winners will be announced in April.

Entry Requirements

The competition is open to participants from any country and school, provided they are 22 years old or younger by the submission deadline.

Participants found to have plagiarized will be disqualified immediately.

Format of the work


Submissions may be in either MS Word or PDF format.

Please use Times New Roman, 12-point font, and double-spacing.

If the translated poem is not an original piece, include the original author's name and the publication date for reference.

The file should be named as follows: [Your Name] + [Original Language of the Poem], e.g., "San Zhang, English."

Announcement

Co-writers can submit original poems and translations, with one person handling the submission and both names included in the submission form. Each submission may have up to two co-writers.

Awards

The event offers awards for the Grand Prize, First Prize, Second Prize, and Third Prize. All participants will receive a certificate.

The Grand Prize winner will receive a cash award of 600 RMB.

The Special Award winner will receive an additional 200 RMB cash prize.
